Watson Receives Platinum ADEX Award for MIRO Private Office Line
ADEX awards to be anounced in the April edition of Design Journal Magazine
Poulsbo, WA – April 17, 2008
Watson Desking has been awarded the prestigious Platinum ADEX award for MIROä, its line of worksurfaces and modular storage components designed primarily for the private office.
Heavily influenced by European furniture trends, Miro offers a highly refined alternative to traditional casegoods and wood veneer office systems.
ADEX (Awards for Design Excellence) awards are sponsored by Design Journal Magazine. Platinum is the highest level in the ADEX program and is reserved for products that demonstrate superior levels of design, appearance and configuration in all areas. The 2007-2008 competition attracted more than 2,500 products from over 500 companies.
“We’ve worked very hard to introduce a product with intriguing lines, impeccable fit and finish qualities, and a true departure from tired furniture models of the past” said Clif McKenzie, President of Watson Furniture Group. “Miro has received an extremely positive response in the marketplace and we are very pleased to receive recognition of this kind from the design community as well.”
Design Journal Magazine will present the winners of the 2007-2008 ADEX awards in the April, 2008 edition of the magazine.
